Privacy Policy
Montage à Trois (“Montage à Trois,” “we,” “us”) provides intimacy coordination, choreography consultation, nudity/simulated-sex rider review, and related workshops and training for film, television, and theater productions. This policy explains what personal information we collect through montageatrois.com (the “Site”) and our related booking and workshop-registration processes, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
This policy covers the Site and our general business communications. It does not replace the confidentiality terms in a signed production services agreement or workshop waiver, which govern how we handle production-specific materials (scripts, casting details, choreography notes) for a given engagement — see Terms of Service and Workshop & Training Terms.
Information We Collect
Contact and inquiry information. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, production or company name (if provided), project type, and the contents of your message. Submissions are processed by Formspree, our third-party form provider, and delivered to us by email.
Booking information. Consultation scheduling is handled through Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service. Information you provide when booking (name, email, selected time, any notes) is collected by Cal.com and shared with us to conduct the consultation; it is subject to Cal.com’s own privacy practices as well as this policy.
Production information submitted through our forms or during engagements. Some inquiries and engagements involve sharing details about a production still in development — scripts, scenes, casting information, scheduling, or other confidential materials. We treat this information as confidential business information, not general marketing data: we do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we limit access to the team members and contracted coordinators actually working on that engagement. Retention and further handling of this material for a specific engagement is also governed by that engagement’s signed agreement.
Workshop and training registrant information. If you register for a workshop or training session, we collect the information needed to process your registration and run the session safely — name, email, payment/deposit confirmation (processed by our payment processor; we do not receive or store full card numbers), and any health, accessibility, or comfort-related information you voluntarily provide so we can accommodate you.
Payment information. Where we collect deposits or workshop fees online, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive confirmation that a payment was made and basic transaction details (amount, date, last four digits of a card where applicable) — we do not receive or store full card numbers or bank credentials.
Site usage information. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. It reports aggregate, anonymized usage statistics (e.g., page views, referring sites) that cannot be tied back to an individual visitor.
How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to inquiries and schedule consultations;
- Plan, deliver, and invoice engagements and workshops;
- Communicate with you about a booking, engagement, or registration;
- Meet our confidentiality and safety obligations on a production;
- Maintain business records, including for accounting and legal compliance; and
- Improve the Site and our services.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use production materials submitted to us for advertising or marketing purposes.
How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security obligations, including Formspree (contact form), Cal.com (scheduling), our payment processor (deposits and workshop fees), Plausible (analytics), Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery), and Migadu (email).
- Coordinators and collaborators working with us on a specific engagement, limited to what they need to do the work.
- Legal and safety exceptions: where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where necessary to protect the safety of any person.
We do not share production-specific confidential materials outside of the engagement they relate to, except as described above or with your production’s consent.
Data Retention
We retain contact-form and general inquiry information for as long as reasonably useful for business development, and delete or anonymize it on request. We retain engagement records (contracts, invoices, confidential production materials) for the duration of the engagement and afterward as needed for legal, tax, and insurance purposes, consistent with the retention terms in the applicable signed agreement. You can ask us to delete information that isn’t subject to a legal retention requirement at any time (see “Your Rights” below).
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Confirm whether we are processing your personal information;
- Access a copy of it;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Request deletion;
- Request a portable copy in a usable format; and
- Opt out of any targeted advertising, sale of personal information, or profiling — though as noted above, we don’t do any of these with your information today.
We extend these rights, including to residents of Texas (where we’re based, under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act) and California, to anyone who contacts us with a request, regardless of exactly which state law technically applies to a given request. To exercise any of these rights, email bonjour@montageatrois.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We’ll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and our engagements do not involve minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including limiting access to confidential production materials to those working on the relevant engagement. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Visitors
We are based in Austin, Texas, and our services are directed at productions and individuals in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Material changes affecting how we handle information you’ve already given us will be communicated directly where practical.
